Room 5 Olympic Learning

For HOT learning this term we have focused on the Olympics (of course).  The children had a number of questions they wanted to find out about.  We looked at what the Ancient Olympics were like and how the Modern Olympics came about.

Here are some of the questions we had.

We also did some Art with an Olympic theme, investigated a NZ Olympian, and most recently organised our own class mini olympics which also tied in with Procedural Writing.

We haven't completed all the events yet.  But will post further photos when we have.
