Enviro Awards
What fabulous students there are in Room 5. This term, 3 boys (Joshua, Sam and Dominic) were given a special award by Mr Orr for all the work they have been doing in creating and keeping our school looking fantastic. They have been busy creating a new sandpit, raking leaves and spreading mulch. Why? Because they want to. Good job boys, so proud of you.
Term 2 - recap
We have been very busy this term - we have been dancing our hearts out, learning maori, writing explanations about the weather, learning to multiply and divide and measure, of course reading. Here are few photos of what might help catch up our viewers.

A Visitor from out of Town
This week we have had a very cute visitor to Room 5. He/she was a very good listener and enjoyed all our chatter. They explored the playground a little too. Welcome to Morepork from Belfast ABC of Christchurch. I am sure you will have lots of tales to tell the children when you get home.
Key Kid Week 7
This week the School Value we were looking at was 'Ambition'. This week's award goes to Eden who has set herself some personal goals and is working at achieving them. Well done Eden.

Senior Athletics

Kop Key Kid for Week 3
The school value that we were focusing on this week was Inclusion. A class vote saw Hope receive the reward. Well done Hope.

Day 3 Run, Jump, Throw
Today it was a go at the high hurdles. Some great action shots of the kids. Then we had a first go at the hammer throw. I was impressed! The children did really well for a first time. Next was relays and then some triple jump practice. Hop, Step, Jump!
